Programmes
The most important programme on Whitechapel AM is Whitechapel
Live. Every evening at 8pm, our ward team will be visiting you to
collect requests, play competitions, and chat about the day’s
issues. If you’d like us to visit you, call on *800 from your
Patientline phone.
Throughout the
rest of the day we play
music based on your requests. There's also live concerts from
some of the World's biggest artists, an hour of Asian music, the Comedy
Hour, and a
daily kids' music programme.
Saturdays are special on Whitechapel AM as the kids take over the
station. There’s music for the childrens’ wards from 2pm.
Then at 4pm it’s WAM4Kids. That’s two hours of madness from the
wards with games, showbiz gossip, sport, and whatever else the kids
want to chat about.
