Whitechapel AM is the hospital radio station serving the patients of the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. Our mission is simple: To entertain the patients.

A charity organisation run entirely by volunteers of all ages and walks of life, our aim is to try and make the stay of patients that little bit more bearable. With a mix of live shows, recorded music, concerts and comedy hours, there is something for all to enjoy.

Free to listen to and contact, the station can be contacted by patients by simply picking up your phone and pressing the Whitechapel AM button on the screen of patient bedside units. So, if you're currently a patient or the relative of a patient, why not call us to request a song?

Our Spring 2012 recruitment drive is now over. However, we are always eager to hear from you and plan to hold our next recruitement drive in late Summer/early Autumn 2012, so please do get in touch with us nearer the time! To register your interest, please email membership@whitechapelam.org.uk.

Please note that we are unable to offer work experience placements and you must be over 18 to volunteer at the station.
